Richard is a Co-Founder of Frontera Strategies, LP. A practitioner of the Entrepreneur Operating System (EOS), Richard holds the role of the “Integrator” at Frontera accountable for running the company and integrating the major leadership functions. Under his leadership, the entire organization is focused, sharing a common vision, disciplined, accountable and advancing as a healthy, functional, cohesive team. His leadership has helped Frontera achieve consistent revenue and profitability growth for 7 consecutive years.
He is passionate about creating a great culture and increasing employee engagement where the company is driving growth and profit. His goal is to be known as a world-class customer service organization, that just so happens to be a healthcare service provider. Under his leadership, Frontera implemented several programs including Culture Index, CICARE, You Got Caught, Frontera CARES benevolence and Ownership Thinking, a self-funding profit sharing program that is paying big dividends for all our employees. His is a consummate reader and devours every book on culture, engagement and organizational health to learn more about how to make Frontera a Good to Great organization.
Richard is actively involved in his community. He is a founding member of Vistage, a CEO leadership organization since 2010. For the past 7 years, he is involved in his Church serving as a Youth Leader, Finance Chairman and on the Personnel committee. He has been a board member of his neighborhood HOA for the past 4 years. He is a big supporter of the Living for Zachary Organization and served as the 2015 Honorary Co-Chair of their Heartbeats Gala.
A native of Corpus Christi, he has lived in the DFW area since 1982. He started his career for 9 years with Electronic Data Systems (EDS), then 12 years between a technical training and dotcom startup as a sales professional before he switched his focus to healthcare. When you don’t find him working late hours, he loves spending time with his family. He resides in Colleyville with his wife Stefanie for 24 years and their 16 year-old daughter. Their oldest daughter is a freshman at Samford University in Birmingham, AL., studying Elementary Ed. He is known to fire up his smoker on the weekends and cook for his whole neighborhood. He may ask you if you have “ever smoked a turkey” within the first few minutes of meeting him. He is a collector of several vintage trucks and loves driving around town during the weekend.
Ches is the Chief Visionary Officer at Frontera Strategies, LP, with responsibility for new business development, strategic relationships and driving innovation within the business. He co-founded the business in 2001 and remains actively involved in its growth. Frontera is the leading provider of ancillary diagnostic testing services for physicians in 5 southern states.
Under his leadership, Frontera has built an award-winning culture and achieved consecutive annualized revenue and profitability growth 7 years running. His experiences were featured in the book Careercation by David Niu.
He is actively involved in his community. He has been a member of the Dallas Chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization since 2006 and served as a board member for four years, including as President in 2014. He is a member of the Entrepreneurs Foundation of North Texas, which helps employees give back to others in their communities through community service. He is a big supporter of the Living for Zachary Organization and served as the 2015 Honorary Chair of their Heartbeats Gala.
A native of south Texas, he has lived in the Dallas area since graduation from TCU’s Neely School of Business with a BBA in Marketing in 1992. He started his career as a sales professional in the technology industry. His experience includes working for multi-billion dollar companies to start-ups.
He enjoys spending time with his family, which include his wife Caroline and their 13 year old son and 11 year old daughter. Weekends are often spent going to the kids’ sporting events, cooking out or entertaining friends. You will have a hard time beating him at trivia and soon figure out that he doesn’t take himself too seriously.
Nate is a founding partner at Frontera Strategies, LP, with responsibility for the sales and marketing efforts of the company. He co-founded the business in 2001 and remains actively involved in its growth. Frontera is the leading provider of ancillary diagnostic testing services for primary care physicians and surgeons in multiple states.
Under his direction, Frontera’s bariatric business has grown dramatically over the past year. The launch of the bariatric division has allowed Frontera to expand into multiple states in a short period of time, helping surgeons to provide better service to their patients while keeping them on their surgical timeline.
Originally from Dimmitt, TX (the other Big D), he graduated from Texas Tech in 1989 with a BBA in Marketing. His professional background has included sales and marketing in the newspaper and technology industries prior to migrating to healthcare 15 years ago.
Most of his time is spent with his family, which includes his wife of 24+ years, Karen, and their 18-year-old son and 16-year-old daughter. They reside in Flower Mound, TX, and enjoy travelling, outdoor activities and working out together as a family. He is also active in Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church in Flower Mound, and is an active member of the Renaissance Executive Forum.
Michael Hartman is the Director of Clinical Affairs at Frontera, and has been a valued member of the team since 2002. He has over 20 years of healthcare experience ranging from orthopedic/neurological rehabilitation to advanced cardiovascular patient care.
His passion is teaching others and sharing his clinical expertise with our accomplished staff of clinicians. He believes in providing patients with exceptional care and wants to identify issues that might prove life-threatening to those in our care. His leadership has helped us realize our mission of ‘saving lives” countless times.
His area of expertise includes research and development, quality assurance/control, clinical education/training, equipment and fleet management, and clinical sales/support. His efforts have helped Frontera launch new service lines and grow the organization.
He is a graduate of the University of Texas-Arlington and resides in North Richland Hills with his wife Paulette (Assistant City Manager of NRH) and their 3 children- Carter, Jackson and Kayla. He is known to enjoy a fine glass of bourbon from time-to-time, and enjoys socializing with friends and family on the weekends.
He loves to give back to his community and has been on several medical mission trips and participated in community service projects through the Entrepreneur Foundation of North Texas. He is a big supporter of the Living for Zachary Organization. He has served on their AED committee and helped arrange projects that have screened hundreds of DFW area kids for the sudden cardiac arrest risk.
His involvement in the local business community includes membership in Vistage since 2011, along with being a founding member of one of their DFW Key Executive Groups.
Lindsay Huey is our Director of Finance. She minds the store at Frontera and is an expert in all things financial.
She is a proud graduate of Oklahoma State University, graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration (Major in Accounting) in 1998, where she also participated in the Walt Disney World College Program. She added an MBA in Health Services Management from UNT in 2002 and has been a CPA Since 2008. She is one of two members of our leadership team that never got a B in college, but the only one to receive straight A’s!
She joined Frontera on June 25th, 2009 (the same day Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett passed away). Coincidence? We think not.
She has worked in various capacities with companies such as Fresenius Medical Care (Joint Venture Accounting Manager), Campbell Wilson (Medicare Reimbursement Consultant), MedSynergies (Director of Client Services and Operations Analyst) and Allied Riser (Senior Accountant).
She is actively involved in Vistage and has been a member of both the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the Medical Group Management Association.
When she is not crunching numbers and impressing us with financial wizardry, you will find her spending time with her husband Gray and their son Cole (3 years old). She is a Richardson native and currently resides in Irving.
She is a big time Cowboys fan. Both the OSU and Dallas variety. She has wagered Nate on every Texas Tech/OSU game and has proudly never had to don red attire after the game.
She really enjoys traveling internationally with Gray. Their favorite destinations include Moorea/Bora Bora and Rome.
Michael Iglio is the Director of Operations for Frontera. His responsibilities include managing the field clinical staff, inside sales and centralized scheduling functions. Michael’s passion is on building the framework that allows Frontera to provide world-class service to our customers and their patients. He is an operations junkie to the core, and thinks of ways to fine-tune our business and processes around the clock.
Through his vision and hands-on leadership style, Michael is helping Frontera achieve key profit and growth milestones, while nurturing a team-based culture blends clinical excellence and business savvy.
Michael graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He background is in incredibly diverse both professionally and personally. He enjoys family time, traveling, golf and fishing. He and his beautiful family reside in Lewisville. He is known to have a hollow leg, and it is rumored that he has conquered the “Big Texan 72 Ounce Steak Challenge” more than once.
Kevin Procious is the Director of Information Technology at Frontera. He is responsible for designing and supporting the information systems used by Frontera. Kevin has been working with Frontera since our inception and has proven to be a master of innovation. Whenever someone has business challenge in the organization, Kevin is an expert at using technology to solve the need.
After graduating from Texas A&M University in 1995, Kevin began his career as an Exercise Physiologist at the Baylor Health Care System, working in the cardiac rehabilitation and non-invasive testing lab. It was during this time at Baylor that he made the switch over to information technology. Having a clinical and technology background gives him the unique perspective that fulfills our business, customer and patient needs.
Outside of work, Kevin enjoys spending time at home in The Colony with his wife Anna and two children, Ashley and Ryan. He also enjoys a round of golf every now and then, spending time outside, as well as playing around on the guitar.
We sometimes give Kevin a hard time about being a “man of few words”. When he speaks, we definitely all listen because it is normally important and profound.
Chuck has more than 30 years of experience in business development and operations management spending time with EDS, Perot Systems, and Dell. As Vice President of Public Sector Services for Dell, Chuck focused on business expansion of the combined Dell and Perot Systems capabilities with the design, implementation and operations solving business issues facing Healthcare, Federal Government, and Education organizations globally. Prior to Dell, Chuck spent more than 20 years at Perot Systems as a member of the Healthcare organization and President of the organization for 10 years. As President, Chuck help lead the organization in rapid expansion to become recognized as the Worldwide leader of technology and business solutions. This was accomplished by adding capabilities through strategic acquisitions, expanding the company’s end-to-end solution portfolio, and focusing on strategic domain and industry experience into North America, EMEA, Asia Pacific, and Latin America.
Chuck is involved with Healthcare organizations including a Board Member at Lightbeam Health Solutions, Dallas Forth Worth Hospital Council Foundation, Valify, Access Healthcare, and advisor to Frontera. Previously served on the Advisory Board of University of Texas at Arlington Nursing school.
